I have worked, lived, and traveled in Spanish-speaking countries throughout my life. I love the culture, food, people, and history. I bring that knowledge, passion, and love to my teaching.
About Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole—a certified Spanish teacher with experience working with students at a wide range of levels, especially those who feel unsure or overwhelmed in class.
Over time, I’ve seen a common pattern: many students fall behind not because they aren’t capable, but because they don’t get enough time to fully understand and practice what they’re learning.
That’s why I created these small group classes.
Instead of rushing through material, I focus on helping students:
-
understand what they’re learning
-
feel comfortable participating
-
build confidence step by step
My teaching style is calm, structured, and supportive—so students can learn without feeling pressure or frustration.
My goal is simple:
✔ Help your child understand Spanish
✔ Help them feel confident speaking
✔ Help them succeed in school
WHY MANY KIDS STILL FEEL UNSURE IN SPANISH
In many elementary programs, Spanish is taught once a week and focuses on exposure to vocabulary rather than consistent practice.
Even when students are doing well in class, they often:
-
Don’t have enough time to practice speaking
-
Forget what they’ve learned between classes
-
Feel unsure when asked to use the language
Middle School Readiness
An 8-week program designed to help students feel confident and prepared before starting Spanish in middle school.
Even if they’ve had Spanish before, they often:
-
Know some words but can’t form sentences
-
Feel unsure participating in class
-
Quickly fall behind as expectations increase

What if my child is already taking Spanish in school?
That’s perfect.
Most students take Spanish in school, but don’t get enough time or support to fully understand it.
These classes are designed to:
-
Reinforce what they’re learning
-
Fill in gaps
-
Build confidence so they can participate more in class
What if my child has no experience with Spanish?
No problem at all.
Beginner-friendly classes are available, and students are grouped by level so they feel comfortable and supported from the start.
How are students grouped?
Students are placed in small groups (3–6 students) based on:
-
Experience level
-
Confidence
-
Age (within a reasonable range)
What does a typical class look like?
Each class includes:
-
Simple, structured vocabulary
-
Speaking practice
-
Interactive activities
-
Light writing or reinforcement
The focus is on helping students understand and speak, not just memorize.
Will this help with schoolwork and homework?
Yes.
While classes are structured, they are designed to support what students are learning in school so:
-
Homework becomes easier
-
Concepts make more sense
-
Students feel more prepared
Do you offer homework help?
Homework support is included when needed, but the main focus is helping students actually understand the material so they don’t struggle in the first place.
What if my child is shy or doesn’t like to participate?
That’s very common.
Classes are intentionally small and supportive, so students can build confidence at their own pace without pressure.
What age groups do you work with?
Classes are available for elementary and middle school students.
Students are grouped by age and level to ensure a comfortable learning environment.
What happens if we miss a class?
Because of small group sizes, missed classes are generally non-refundable.
Make-up classes may be offered when possible but are not guaranteed.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes.
A free trial allows you to see how your child responds before committing.
How much do classes cost?
Pricing depends on the type of class (group or 1:1).
Details are provided after the free trial so you can choose what works best for your child.
How long are classes?
Classes are typically 45 minutes, once per week.
